Wellbeing

Empowering growth

Holistic child development
Annesley is a community that promotes gratitude, wellbeing, positive psychology and resilience. Woven throughout our curriculum is an understanding of the whole child. We recognise the need to nurture the intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual life of each child as they journey through our school.

Pastoral counseling support
Our Chaplain, Pastor Pete Morton is a qualified counsellor and is available to provide counselling services to students, parents and staff in our community. Pastor Pete is regularly found connecting with students informally in learning spaces from ELC to Year 6 and during playtimes, before and after school to build and maintain relationships with our students and community. Pete is available to meet with parents also and parents are encouraged to make contact at any time with Pete, and he is best reached via email mortonp@annesley.sa.edu.au. Parents will be contacted for permission prior to any one-on-one counselling sessions are offered to students.
